It was 1940. George and Arthurine Renfro started selling spices and vinegar out of their house on Gould Avenue in Fort Worth. She hated the name Arthurine and preferred to be called Mrs. Renfro. Eighty-six years later the third generation still run the company from the same Texas town, and every jar in this box is cooked and bottled there.
